Renee Propps PMPDenver, CO
Renee has over 13 years’ experience with program and project management in state government, including eight years of oversight and management of Medicaid reimbursement and state policies for facilities and four years at Public Knowledge, LLC. Throughout her time in the public sector, Renee was heavily involved in program and system development, and worked closely with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). Renee has provided project management for multiple long-term projects including a web-based portal interface with MMIS and a rate redesign project for nursing homes. Additionally, she has experience with procurement, systems testing, policy and procedure development, and CMS certification. She currently consults primarily with state government focusing on Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V), CMS regulations, and Medicaid program specific research; specializing in Care Management and CMS certification. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado, Monfort School of Business and has her Project Management Professional Certification.
